The Eagle Nebulae - M16 in SHO

The Eagle Nebulae or Messier 16 is the home of an open star cluster recently forming and is 55 light years wide. This Nebula was discovered in 1745 by a Swiss astronomer and is located 7000 light years away from home. At the center you can see what is called the “The pillars of creation” made of gas and dust and is a star nursery.
